Fans who may not want to spend $99.95 to order the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor match on Pay Per View, and don't see themselves at a fight party, can still legally watch the highly anticipated bout. Thanks to an agreement reached between Mayweather Promotions and Fathom Events the fight will be showing at select theaters.

According to boxing insider Dan Rafael of ESPN, the big screen broadcast will be the exact same one aired for the millions of homes that will be tuning in to watch McGregor and Mayweather clash. Tickets for a seat at T-Mobile Arena on August 26 are running at an average upwards of $6,000. A cozy seat at the local cinema will reportedly cost between $15 and $25 dollars, and there are reports that some theaters will be pumping the price up to $40. Mayweather released a statement in which he acknowledged that the fight will be available for theatergoers.

"The buzz that my fight against Conor McGregor is getting has been great already, so what better way to watch this larger-than-life event than on the big screen?" he said. "We brought boxing back to movie theaters eight years ago, and it was a huge success. But this event is on a different level, and I'm so glad we are giving fans another way to see all the action. Grab your popcorn because this is a fight no one will want to miss."
