Last week, it was reported that former White House Attorney General Jeff Sessions engaged in conversations with Russia in relation to the 2016 presidential election. Following the reports, the Department of Justice has shot down the notion of Sessions in reference to anything “concerning any type of interference” in the 2016 presidential election. Since then, Sessions has recused himself from the Russia investigations, which has infuriated Trump. Now, the president is possibly looking to bring Rudy Giuliani in to run the Justice Department in place of Sessions according to reports.

Trump did not hesitate to show how much he is not feeling Sessions at the moment and took to Twitter to speak his mind. Trump said, “So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G. looking into Crooked Hillary’s crimes & Russia relations?” Previously, Trump told the NY Times “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.” It seems Giuliani is looking to be that somebody else Trump spoke of. The former mayor of New York City was an active supporter of Trump during his 2016 campaign and reportedly lobbied for a position in the presidential cabinet.
