Recently, it was reported that an 18-year-old California woman was accused of live streaming a car crash that she started, resulting in the death of her sister. According to Fox 5 San Diego, Obdulia Sanchez was driving her car while using Instagram Live to broadcast. There were two other girls in the car, which included her sister Jacqueline Sanchez. While driving, Obdulia Sanchez swerved off the road and overturned the car into a field. When police and paramedics arrived on the scene, they noted that 14-year-old Jacqueline Sanchez was dead, while the other 14-year-old suffered a right leg injury.

Police also made it clear to the press that they were taking a look at the Instagram Livestream that Sanchez posted while the accident was taking place. In the video, Sanchez can be heard saying “Jacqueline, please wake up... I f——g killed my sister, okay? I know I’m going to jail for life.” Sanchez was arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated along with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
