Amid a tumultuous Cavs off-season that has seen the departure of GM David Griffin, a restless Kyrie Irving, and a failure to make any meaningful additions to the team, sources told ESPN that LeBron James will not waive his no-trade clause for any teams during the 2017-18 season.

James will likely test free agency next summer.

The Cavs are very much in win-now mode, which makes James' situation--especially given that Kyrie now wants out--that much more fraught. But sources say James, despite his disappointment in the way the off-season has unfurled, is committed to leading the Cavaliers to another championship.
