On the heels of a bombshell BuzzFeed report citing allegations of an R. Kelly sex cult, and the continual pursuit of 21-year-old Joycelyn Savage's family to get justice for what they believe is the brainwashing and abuse of their daughter, allegations of Kelly exhibiting predatory behavior hit the presses over the weekend.
On Sunday, July 23, TMZ reported the account of a 21-year-old woman, who says that after a show in December she had the privilege of meeting Kelly thanks to a VIP wristband that was handed to her by a member of his crew. The woman claims that she and Kelly exchanged numbers that night and got in communication with one another thereafter. According to the anonymous woman, what began as a promise to help her with her acting/modeling career, began to make a peculiar turn when he invited her to his Georgia home with the request that she "wear something sexy." She was informed that phones were forbidden but was nonetheless cool with moving forward with the visit because she was in the company of a friend she brought along, she says.
That evening she was shown to Kelly's bedroom, where she posed for posed for pictures per his request. Impressed by what he saw, Kelly invited her back, the woman claims, and supplied her with money to buy lingerie for her next visit. The woman reportedly told TMZ that she returned to Kelly's residence a couple of more times, but in noticing that he gradually became more aggressive, decided to cut her communication with the singer after he sent her a one-way ticket to L.A. with the condition that she leave her friend at home.
