While we have heard tracks by French Montana since the early 2000's, his latest release, The Jungle Rules, is only his second studio album. Montana stopped by Power 105.1 on Friday, July 21, continuing the promotion of his new album, and while chatting it up with Angie Martinez, shared that he has received notable praise for the project, including accolades from Jay-Z.
"Jay-Z hit me yesterday and said Famous is his favorite record," Montana recalled after being asked about the response to his album. The Bronx rapper goes on to state that Jay-Z told him, "I wished that record was mine and I don't wish for too much."
