Many fans and critics have vocalized whether they care for the new Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me, and even folks who were close to Tupac like Jada Pinkett-Smith have slammed the film for the glaring inaccuracies about the rapper’s life. Now, director John Singleton has chimed and added some thoughts about scenes from his version of the All Eyez On Me script that included a prison rape scene.

When asked by a caller on Sway In The Morning about why promotes homosexuality in his films and shows, with the caller even referencing the Tupac script, Singleton snapped back quickly saying “Them motherf—ers put out a rough draft of three pages of a dream sequence in one of the scripts. They’re doing that as a misdirect because they didn’t respect him or his mother or his legacy or what Pac really meant to people. It don’t matter what I was gonna do or think about doing. It matters that they f—ked up that movie.”

The caller also spoke on how Singleton included bits of homosexuality in his latest show Snowfall, to which Singleton responded by saying "We're just keeping it real." Watch above.
