Free agent Derrick Rose and the Cleveland Cavaliers are working to solidify a one-year deal, according to ESPN.

Over the past three weeks, Rose has met with the LA Lakers, Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks. But over the past several days the negotiations with Cleveland became more serious, sources said.

The Cavs are reportedly offering Rose $2.1 million to play alongside Kyrie Irving in the team's backcourt this upcoming season.

Last year for the Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.4 assists on 47.1 percent shooting in 64 games.
