A man was stabbed to death early Thursday morning while sitting outside of a Brooklyn deli eating his breakfast, and the graphic murder was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

The attack reportedly happened around 6:15 a.m. on Neptune Ave. in Brighton Beach.

A 31-year-old man was sitting on a crate outside of a deli eating a bagel and tea biscuits when another man approached him. After appearing to exchange a few words, the attacker casually unfolded a knife and drove it into the victim's chest. The victim stood up, dropped his food and stumbled into a nearby intersection before collapsing in front of a green cab. He died about an hour later at Coney Island Hospital.

"It was very heartbreaking," local resident Angel Reyes told the NY Daily News. "He was just eating breakfast.”

The 36-year-old suspect, who was quickly arrested by responding officers, claims the victim had just robbed him. Police are investigating the claim.
