Trail Blazers stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are making a push to get the restless Carmelo Anthony to Portland.

"I spoke to him," Lillard told reporters on Wednesday. "He makes us a better team. With that being out there, and that being a real possibility, I don't see why I wouldn't reach out to him and let him know the interest is mutual if he's interested in us."

And earlier this week, Blazers shooting guard posted a picture of Melo in a Portland jersey on his Instagram. "He can help us a lot; we can help him," McCollum told The Oregonian. "He wants to play in the playoffs and be competitive. He's a very talented player. I think if we get him--when we get him--I think [we're] top three in the West, easy."

But ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Carmelo is still holding out for a trade to the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers. According to sources, he's only willing to waive his no-trade clause for those two teams.
