Donald Trump is slowly becoming more known for his tweets during his presidency as opposed to the progress he’s made for American policy, and now his knack for Twitter has resurfaced again. This time, Trump took to the platform to express how he feels about the failure of the Senate Republican health care bill. He said, “We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal & terrific & worked really hard. We will return!”

Trump also noted that he feels Republicans should do away with the legislative filibuster or the “nuclear option” to make it simple to pass a replacement for Obamacare. Trump said “The Senate must go to a 51-vote majority instead of current 60 votes. Even parts of full Repeal need 60. 8 Dems control Senate, Crazy!”

This comes after Republicans used a process where only 50 votes were needed to pass the replacement bill but still could not get the bill through despite the advantage.
