Kevin Hart recently had an encounter with an elderly woman that moved him to come out of pocket with a pretty decent chunk of change he hoped might help her through her struggles.
In a video posted to social media, the star actor/comedian tells of what compelled him to spare around $400 at the spur of a moment. "It's weird when it happens and how it happens, but at the most inopportune times, something will happen that touches your heart. And that woman honestly touched my heart," Hart says in the video.
Even with a mansion in Los Angeles and a net worth of $120 million, Hart is not exempt from occasionally running into the destitute. It isn't clear whether or not the woman in the video is homeless, but it certainly appeared that she could use a helping hand. She eventually recognized who he was and lit up with a smile. Hart would ask her not to take it for granted that she was receiving the aid, and got her to make a promise that she'd use the funds for her necessities.
