When Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder to head to the Golden State Warriors, many believed that he and Russell Westbrook would be at odds for a very long time to come. However, Westbrook’s newest teammate Paul George says that the two no longer have issues with each other, and are even “buddies” now. During an interview on ESPN, Paul George said “"Whatever went between him and Russ that's their business. It's not my point to want to know or want to figure out what happened. It's pointless. They are buddies, they are back good again. I'm here to build something different and something special."

The news comes as a surprise, as Durant reportedly informed Russell Westbrook of his departure from OKC to the Warriors via text message.
