Cash Money artist Jacquees was kicked off of a flight just moments before take off from Atlanta on Friday, July 14. The B.E.D. singer was reportedly responsible for the plane returning to its gate after refusing to hang up his phone in accordance with airline protocol.

Delta has released a statement in which it backs up the actions of its crew member to eject Jacquees for becoming "contrite" while causing a 45-minute delay in its departure. Jacquees' camp has responded with a claim that one of the flight attendants made a racist comment against him during the confrontation. There was also friction over a fellow passenger calling him an "a**hole" as he passed by on his way off of the aircraft.

Video of Jacquees stopping to confront the man was obtained by TMZ, and it shows as the 23-year-old singer comes close to escalating the ordeal before he is finally peeled away. "Right here. I want him off the flight. What you just say? Hold on, wait, wait, hold on, hold on, what you just say? Man, you gotta watch your mouth man, what If I slap you though, man? You just disrespected me man," he tells the man before getting off.
