The stars will be out in attendance at the McGregor-Mayweather fight in Las Vegas next month, with many having already booked their flights and hotel rooms for the August 26 weekend. Fans who've marked their calendars for the PPV event can expect to see actors, musicians, athletes, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists sitting ringside for what is projected to be the biggest boxing draw in history. There will also be politicians on hand and were it not for all of the trouble he knows it would cause, the President would be sitting right there with them.

TMZ recently caught up with Dana White to get a feel for what the ticket situation is looking like thus far. The UFC boss admitted that the logistics were still being worked out, but he did confirm that big names have been hitting him up for seats. Among them has been the office of Donald Trump, he says, who really regrets that they won't be able to make it. "He feels like he'll ruin events. He'll ruin the event if he shows up," White said. Trump did express interest in attending, he said, but it would be too much of a hassle for organizers and other attendees. "Secret Service is going to have to go through the place. They'll have to shut down streets and create crazy traffic," said White.

Donald Trump has long been known to be a boxing fan. In fact, the 45th President was once a player in the business, thanks to his Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, which in the late 1980's and early 90's hosted some of the biggest fights in the sport. With his Don King and Mike Tyson connections, Trump helped elevate A.C. to become Las Vegas' East Coast rival for a time, and he was honored for doing so when in 2015 New Jersey inducted him into the state's Boxing Hall of Fame.
