Floyd Mayweather has made more than $700 million over the course of his boxing career, according to Forbes. However, the undefeated champion has filed for a reprieve with the IRS so he could have more time to pay his 2015 taxes.

Law360 reported that Mayweather is asking to pay the taxes until after his fight with Conor McGregor because his assets are "restricted and primarily illiquid.” The petition read, "Although the taxpayer has substantial assets, those assets are restricted and primarily illiquid. The taxpayer has a significant liquidity event scheduled in about 60 days from which he intends to pay the balance of the 2015 tax liability due and outstanding."

Mayweather was said to have taken home around $32 million from his last fight against Andre Berto, but analysts are saying his upcoming fight against McGregor could net him close to the $220 million he made from the hyped Pacquiao fight.
