In the wake of Prodigy's sudden death, the world mourned and remembered the Queensbridge legend for revolutionizing East-Coast gangsta rap. As part of his ongoing memorial service, a mural of the late rapper was painted across the street from the Queensbridge Housing Projects where Prodigy spent apart of his childhood.

Talented artists Jeff Henriquez and Eli Lazare finished the project over the span of five days and less than 24 hours after they completed the mural, it was destroyed by vandals armed with white paint. According to Hip-Hop DX, it is still unclear as to whether or not the vandalism is being investigated as a crime. Stay tuned for updates.
