Kanye West and Jay-Z's feud was reportedly not over a dispute related to Tidal. Rather, sources close to Jay-Z say that Hov's Kanye-directed diss on 4:44 was a result of Kanye dissing Jay at a concert during the Saint Pablo Tour.
Sources close to Kanye and Jay-Z say Jay was upset when Kanye went on a rant against him at a November 19th concert in Sacramento.

Sources also said Kanye had no idea Jay-Z would go at him in 4:44.
