Fans lined up for blocks Thursday afternoon outside of the funeral home where the late rapper Prodigy's public memorial service was being held in NYC.

In a moving display of adoration for the 42-year-old Mobb Deep rhymer, who passed away on June 20, hundreds of people gathered at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel and patiently waited for a turn to pay their respects.

Inside the chapel, a shrine to the legendary emcee was set up featuring artwork, photos, and other memorabilia.

Brooklyn turntablist DJ Xcalibur shared a video to Instagram of the huge crowds which could be seen lined up and down the sidewalks on both sides of the street and around the block.
