The NFL published the rankings of its seventh annual Top 100 Players list on Monday, June 26. Leading the pack this year was 15-year veteran Tom Brady, becoming the first player to earn the top player distinction twice since the league began its rankings in 2011.

Brady replaces Cam Newton who held the distinction in the 2016 rankings. In 2016 Brady registered his second highest pass completion percentage [67.4] and the third highest average for yards per attempts [8.2]. The only time his quarterback rating [112.2] was ever higher was during his 2007 campaign. Through 12 games he threw 28 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions for 3,554 yards.

Rounding out the top ten are Von Miller, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Khalil Mack, Aaron Rodgers, Ezekiel Elliott, Odell Beckham Jr., Le'Veon Bell and Matt Ryan.
