Last week, two black men in Florida were crossing the street and not too long after were approached by three cop cars. One of the men, Devonte Shipman, asked what did they do wrong to warrant being approached by so many cops. Police officer J.S. Bolen told Shipman and his friend that they crossed the street against the crossing signal and that they would be hit with a $65 fine. From there, the officer orders the two men to come to his squad car in an aggressive tone. Shipman initially refuses, but the police officer threatens him and his friend with jail time if they do not oblige.

Once they make it to the car, Shipman lets the officer know that he does not have any identification on him, but is more than willing to spell out his name so he can be searched. Bolen responded by saying "That's another infraction. In the state of Florida, you have to have an ID card on you identifying who you are or I can detain you for seven hours until I figure out who you are." Watch the clip above.
