News surfaced earlier today of a Colombian tourist boat sinking to the bottom of a reservoir. According to reports, almost 200 people were on board while the boat was going down. The horrific event took place this past Sunday and saw smaller boats attempting to rush to the bigger sinking boat. Along with those boats, rescue helicopters were on the scene along with firefighters. Both were trying to help save loads of people who had already found themselves in the reservoir along with the boat.
In the video, occupants of the boat can be seen dispersing onto other vessels. However, three people were not able to make it off the boat and were confirmed dead by RCN Radio in Colombia. Numerous passengers who were on-board have yet to be accounted for, and are considered to be missing. Because of that, the Colombian Air Force was called to the scene to conduct a search and rescue mission for missing persons. Watch above.
