The 2017 NBA Draft recently took place and saw the Philadelphia 76ers draft Markelle Fultz. From there, Sixers player Joel Embiid tweeted a new nickname that he said fans gave their new squad. Embiid tweeted "According to Sixers fans, the new nickname is the "FEDS" (Fultz, Embiid, Dario, Simmons).. the FEDS are coming."

Social media began to laugh at the name once he tweeted it, and now players around the league are weighing in on the name, including Kevin Durant. During a celebrity softball game that took place this past Sunday in Oakland, Durant spoke to fellow Golden State Warriors teammates Javale McGhee and Andre Iguodala about the Sixers' new nickname. Iguodala came up to McGhee and Durant to tell them about the name. After letting them know, they laughed and Durant said "How they got a nickname and ain't played no games together?" Watch above.
