TDE's Kendrick Lamar won the BET Award for Best Male Hip Hop artist. Kendrick beat out Big Sean, Chance The Rapper, Drake, Future and J. Cole. During his acceptance speech, Kendrick shouted out Prodigy and explained how P influenced his first mixtape.
Remy Ma took home the Best Female Rapper honors.
