Reports presume actor Charlie Sheen to be the defendant in a lawsuit recently filed by a woman who claims she was recklessly exposed to HIV by an unnamed party who only came clean about his status after the fact.

The suit, which comes by way of a Russian immigrant from California, makes mention of the defendant having gone public to announce that he was HIV positive, on national TV, and it gives the date of his confession as November 17, 2015. That was the day that Sheen took to "Today" to drop the bombshell that his lifestyle of sex and drugs had led him to contract the virus.

According to the claimant, she reached out to get in contact with the defendant with the recollection that they had unprotected sex with one another and that he simply gave her the names of two pills she could take to prevent transmission. It was no consolation to her that he also attempted to be encouraging by informing her that she'd be ok because the "apocalypse" had "cleansed" her soul.
