It's safe to say Knicks fans aren't feeling too Zen right now, as Phil Jackson confirms he's fielding trade request for Kristaps Porzingis.

"We're getting calls," Jackson said in an interview with MSG Network. "When a guy doesn't show up for an exit meeting, everybody starts speculating on the duration or movability from a club," Jackson stated that within all his years of coaching Porzingis was the first player to ever to skip out on such a meeting. "I had a real good relationship with Kristaps over the last two years. So it was kind of surprising."

Although Shaq in 2004 was the first to skip a Jackson exit meeting, their partnership ended when he was shipped to Miami that summer. Many Knicks fans like Stephan A Smith hope the seven-footer from Latvia who averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocks per game in his second season in the league, stays in blue and orange.

Finishing the season with a record of 31-51, the Knicks are in need of repairs. When asked why the organization would get rid of their 2015 first round pick Jackson said that he was looking towards the future.

"Does it bring us two starters and a draft pick or something that's even beyond that? That's something we have to look at as far as going down the road."
