Bill Cosby narrowly escaped jail time in his sexual assault trial nearly one week ago, and he can thank two unwavering jurors for that.

According to one juror who has chosen to remain anonymous, 10 of the 12 peers who sat on the court panel agreed that the 79-year-old was guilty as charged, while the other two reportedly kept a stoic demeanor about them as they resisted attempts to influence their decision. As the clock ticked down towards the 53rd hour of deliberation, attitudes are said to have intensified, making for an emotional mistrial.

With the exception of the two said jurors, the jury believed beyond a reasonable doubt that Cosby had penetrated Andrea Constand with his fingers. It was the same 10-2 outcome for those who believed that he had indeed doctored her drink without her knowing. On the third charge, Cosby got by with an even slimmer margin, as 11 of the jurors concurred that Constand indeed was aware and conscious throughout the 2004 ordeal, while only 1 posed that she couldn't have known.
