Donald Trump will reportedly implement new restrictions on travel and trade with Cuba. In 2015, Barack Obama lifted sanctions between the United States and Cuba.

The sanctions will restrict transactions with the Cuban military, and American citizens will not be allowed to travel to Cuba for "people to people" purposes.

Most germane to American citizens, the policy change won't take effect immediately, so Americans with plans to travel to Cuba will still be able to do so as of now.
