According to reports, the car that former NBA player Derek Fisher crashed this past weekend belongs to Warriors player Matt Barnes. Because of the crash, Fisher was given a DUI. Fisher was driving a 2015 Cadillac Escalade this past Sunday when he drifted and hit a guard rail along the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles. After hitting the guard rail, the truck flipped. His girlfriend Gloria Govan was in the truck as well. Gloria Govan is the ex-wife of Barnes and was given the Escalade by Barnes as a vehicle "for the kids." Photos of the truck surfaced, which show the truck completely wrecked. Previously in 2015 Barnes and Fisher allegedly got into an altercation with each other after word broke out that Govan and Fisher were dating. The two were former teammates in 2010, 2011, and 2012 on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite the car flipping, Gloria Govan and Derek Fisher were not injured. Fisher was arrested for suspicion of DUI after police found out Fisher was drinking.
