Migos has come to notoriety for the consistency they've brought with their infectious rap style, making them one of the more influential groups in today's rap/trap music scene. But it isn't only their sound that has drawn them so much attention. Their fashion has also won them style points, particularly their affinity for glitzy chains and iced out pieces. It is rare that reserved member Takeoff grabs the mic, much less the spotlight from bandmates Quavo and Offset, but his new necklace is making all the waves.
Takeoff recently showed the $500,000 acquisition off with a photo on Instagram that shows off it's 200 karat diamond sparkle. "Put Dat Lil Shit Up," he wrote in the caption of the May 13 post. One week later he put up another photo that featured the chain, this time with him rocking the kilo heavy piece while on stage. It bears several charms, with one depicting the Earth, one depicting Saturn, one depicting Mars along with a small moon that orbits the necklace. The planets are complimented by a YRN spaceship centerpiece.
The offset is usually the group's member responsible for flossing on social media. Between April and May he debuted rain drop chain, a chain bearing his name, and a zany Freakazoid chain that began convincing fans just how well the Culture rappers have been making off. Most of Migos' finest jewelry, like Takeoff's spaceship chain was, are designed by Elliot Avianne.
