Over the weekend, Rapper Rich Homie Quan and five associates were arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs. According to TMZ, the Motown Rapper has been officially charged with felony weed possession with intent to distribute in Georgia.

Law enforcement sources say the group traveling to a performance was stopped at a police checkpoint Saturday (May 27), then subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs and held at the Jefferson County Jail.

Georgia has strict drug laws with possession of more than an ounce carrying a felony charge. Quan will be held at least until his hearing on Friday. According to TMZ, Rich Homie Quan could face up to 30 years for the offense.
