Washington Redskins star Josh Norman just reinvigorated a feud that appeared to have fizzled between he and Odell Beckham Jr. when both men stood down during their match-up in 2016. In a Bleacher Report interview that was released on Thursday, May 25, the Pro Bowl cornerback states that he regrets playing nice with the Giants wide receiver and promises that when they meet up this coming season, he'll be bringing the kind of drama that fans will recall driving headlines when they met in 2015.

"Trust me when I tell you, it's going to be bad blood this year," Norman told the publication, before warning that he and newly signed safety D.J. Swearinger will be coming with a vengeance that he doesn't believe Washington's competitors will be able to overcome. "You think the NFC East didn't like each other before? This year right here? There's going to be a lot of fines and maybe some suspensions. I'm going to be honest with you: This s--t is going to get really ugly," Norman said.

While Norman addresses the entire NFC East in the Q&A, with shots also directed towards Dez Bryant, he placed a majority of his focus on Beckham, who he says is not who he makes himself out to be. "He tries to be a tough guy. He tries to put on this persona which he's not. Because he's always going to have his head on a swivel. Always. Always when we play each other. He's scary like that," said Norman, before inferring that Beckham shrunk when he was bullied by Vikings corner Xavier Rhodes last year. "He does things that he normally wouldn't do because of all the pressure and added hype that he has to put on his whole persona."

"I hope I don't catch him outside. Let's just say that," Norman would go on to say, giving a clear indication of just how personal the rivalry is to him.
