Blac Youngsta kept his word and pulled up to the hood to sign a fellow South Memphis artist to his Heavy Camp label on Tuesday, May 23. The CMG rapper had taken to social media earlier in the day to give his followers a heads up that he was about to make a young artist out there rich. Thus, there are those who were already aware of what was going on when videos showing him roll out to Philsar street began circulating.

The block was crowded with neighborhood supporters when Youngsta arrived. Some had been anticipating that he was coming through, as is evident by the giddiness of some who's live streams of the event made it onto the internet. They gathered around as the money-flaunting rapper laid stacks out on the hood of an Aston Martin. Then phones were raised to capture the moment hometown talent Yung Money signed a contract to become Blac Youngsta's first artist.

After the signing, the people lingered to get pictures with Blac, who showed love by posing and signing autographs. Blac paced before his friends and family smiling wide, as he soaked in his future, which his new boss helped him kick off by giving him the six digit sum of cash and the luxury car, to keep.
