Floyd Mayweather Jr. was greeted with open arms when he arrived in the U.K. for the Showtime/BoxNation weekend festivities, late last week. After stopping through Leicester to show the heavyweight champ some love at an event dubbed An Evening With Anthony Joshua on Thursday, he headed out for east London to watch his protege Gervonta Davis knock out undefeated super featherweight champ Liam Walsh in three rounds, on Saturday, May 21.

A couple of cell phone recordings that have since made it onto the internet show the moment The Money Team boss is splashed in the face with a helping of beer that comes flying from the stands, as he made his way up the Copper Box Arena aisle.

In the past, Floyd has made it a point to disclose that he doesn't take matters involving aggressive fans into his own hands; hence, the massive security detail he is famous for rolling with. Thus, the fan responsible for tossing the drink was likely approached, but Floyd himself kept it moving relatively unscathed.
