It's great to see artists poke fun at themselves, especially in Hip-Hop. This time it's Papoose. This hatless meme of the rapper started floating around late Saturday. A lot of people seem to think it's a real picture because, well, it's a mystery what lies beneath Papoose's hat.
No matter what you think of the two, you have to admit this is funny.
He posted the picture to his Instagram page next to one of DMX, whose hairline we're all familiar with. Although Pap already took the post down, the internet wasted no time with the screen grab. His original caption is filled with laughing emojis and reads, "Give X his head back. Every week it's a new fake Papoose story. I guess black love causes black hate #photoshop who paying ya'll to do this?"
A closer look at the two flicks shows it looks like someone did put X's hairline on Papoose. It's the exact same "cut."

A quick glance at DMX's social media pages doesn't show anything related to the photoshop incident, not that anyone expected it.
Really though-- can you think of a time where Papoose has ever been seen not wearing a hat?
