West Coast hip-hop cornerstone Snoop Dogg just released his 15th studio album "Neva Left" Friday (May 19), now he's already revealing that he's working on a gospel album for his next project.
During an interview on The Pharmacy show on Beats 1 Radio, the hip-hop legend told the hosts he’s now working on a Gospel album.
“I'm working on a gospel album,’ Snoop stated. “It’s always been on my heart. I just never got around to it because I always be doing gangsta business or doing this or doing that”
Snoop didn't off any details such as a release date or what the name of the project will be, but he did announce he spoke to Faith Evans, Charlie Wilson, and Jeffrey Osborne.
Snoop has always tried to do something new. In 2013, he became Snoop Lion for the reggae album, Reincarnated. In 2015, he released the "Bush" album which saw the Dogfather try his hand at funk.
