Better late than never.

Wednesday T-Pain teased his LONG awaited collaborative project with Lil Wayne titled T-Wayne. Almost a decade ago T-Pain said in an MTV News interview, "I've been doing an album with Lil Wayne. It's called T-Wayne: The Project. It's basically just going to be an array of things, just a visual love. The two artists you've seen collaborate with everyone except each other. When you see us together, it's crazy right now." Rumors of multiple T-Wayne projects were also spreading at the time.

In another interview, Lil Wayne gave an in-depth description of the creative similarities between T-Pain and himself. Wayne told MTV News,"He loves to be creative, he loves to work; I love to create, I love to work,", "He really wants people to respect his rapping; I really want people to respect my harmonizing."

When the two artists teamed up in the past they gave us hits like I Can't Believe It, We Taking Over, and almost every DJ Khaled hit in the early 2000's. The collaborative project is available for streaming on Soundcloud and Youtube. Perhaps this will lead to the release of Lil Wayne's long-awaited Tha Carter V album.
