A high school in Ohio became the site of a recent experiment that proved to be a hard learning experience for the students who partook. Video of the group of teens who signed up to be a part of the law enforcement project has surfaced to show them as they each struggle to contain themselves after taking shots of pepper spray to the face.

“Each student will have the option to be swabbed or receive a quick ‘burst’ to the facial area with this chemical agent,” a waiver circulated to the parents of volunteers from a criminal technology course at Barberton High School read. Those who agreed to allow their child to be a part of the project were warned that the spray would cause “irritation and a burning sensation to eyes and nasal area.”

The students are seen squinting and squirming, with some screaming and jumping in pain, as an officer walked past them, insisting that they “Stop resisting" and "please comply,” while letting off with the spray.
