The numbers are in, and the dust has settled on all of the hype surrounding LaVar and Lonzo Ball's initial Big Baller Brand sneaker venture, the amount of money generated by the ZO2 premium kicks stands in the ballpark of a quarter of a million dollars.

ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell broke the news on the ZO2's success on Wednesday morning, May 17, with a tweet that estimates sales approaching 600 pairs, based on orders. He wasn't optimistic about the number, writing, "Has to humble LaVar Ball enough to reopen deals w/big companies."

It has been two weeks since Big Baller Brand began taking orders for the sneaker. Priced at $495, the immediate buzz surrounding their rollout was negative, with many criticizing Ball for putting them out of the range of everyday consumers. LaVar has however remained adamant that $495 is how much he sees them being worth. Thanks to the pricing, it appears that the Balls have made a decent little dime, but it is difficult to gauge exactly how prosperous the venture has so far been, as Ball hasn't disclosed how much it costs him to produce the product.
