The Steve Harvey show recently had Faith Evans on for an episode that promoted it's guest as the "First Lady of Hip Hop." As is to be expected, with 2017 marking the 20th anniversary since his death, the 43-year-old singer wound up fielding questions about her late husband, Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious B.I.G.

In doing so, Evans divulged a hint of information concerning those responsible for B.I.G.'s death that rap fans have long waited to hear, although she spared providing names or specifics. "We believe they know, we believe we know," Evans told Harvey, with "they" being a reference to the LAPD.

Evans admitted to having the knowledge after explaining why Big's estate has stopped funding an investigation into his murder. “We just decided to not continue to financially try to pursue something that we know is only resting in the hands of the LAPD," she said. "We believe they know what happened. We just pray and keep hope that one day they will say that they know what happened,” she said.

Faith says that until the LAPD mans up about the evidence they have, there will be no closure over his tragic death.
