Former WWE star Ariane Andrew (otherwise known as "Cameron") caused a stir among fans who took exception to her stating that she doesn't date inside of her own race, over the weekend. “I actually don’t date black guys. I don’t know, I just have a thing for white boys. You know, a little vanilla and a little choco latte. They make cute babies,” Andrew told a TMZ reporter, who asked whether she likes white guys.

Those who've followed Andrew beyond her wrestling career will recall her run on E!'s Total Divas show, and how the production explored the ins and outs of her relationship with boyfriend, Vincent Isayan, who is of Armenian descent. While Andrew's relationship with Isayan didn't survive the test of time, her favor for Caucasian men has. On Monday, May 15, she re-connected with TMZ to clarify that at the end of the day she was speaking on what she looks for in a man and that her remark in no way reflects on how she sees herself as a Black woman or how she sees other Black people.

"I've dated Black guys in the past. You know, but just like anybody, we all have a preference. And it's a preference thing, and it was a comment, it wasn't meant to be derogatory," said Andrew.
