A new report from the Washington Post claims that President Trump shared classified information during a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak in a White House meeting last week.

One official with knowledge of the situation told the Post that Trump revealed to Lavrov and Kislyak that Isis hopes to use laptops as bombs on planes. The insider then told the publication that Trump said, "I get great intel. I have people brief me on great intel every day."

Trump's national security adviser H.R. McMaster claims that Trump and the Russian officials talked about "common threats" to each country. McMaster also told the Post, "The President and the foreign minister reviewed common threats from terrorist organizations to include threats to aviation. At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly."
