Video of a heated exchange that escalated into blows between Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Peter Thomas and Matt Jordan in March found it's way onto social media this week. The recording draws viewers into the moments that take place after a dispute Thomas and Jordan have devolves into threats, before both men wind up entangled atop the desks and equipment in Charlotte's Power 98 radio station room.
As far as words go, Jordan appeared to be the aggressor in the situation. On a couple of occasions, he makes reference to Thomas having ducked him the day prior and is held back after coming to his feet and throwing his hands up. Thomas remains aback the entire time, responding that he's game to throw down if that's what Jordan wants to do, all the while holding his hands in his pockets suspiciously. When Jordan had had enough talking, all of the work the hosts put in while trying to keep the men separated proved to be in vain, with him selecting to charge forth past them and tackle Thomas on to a desk.
Jordan and Thomas would wrestle around the room before, trading places as they grappled for leverage and the hosts hollered for help. Eventually, Thomas pulls a blade out of his pocket, prompting Jordan to hold his wrist back. A staffer eventually arrives in the room to pull Jordan away, while the other hosts contain Thomas in a corner of the room. After the fight actually occurred two months back, Thomas had bragged about holding his own in the tussle. He says he never had any intention to actually use the box cutter, stating, "If I was an idiot I would have sliced him, but I'm not. I wasn't there to fight with Matt."
Thomas has since announced that he is moving forward in pressing assault charges against his counterpart.
