Reminiscent of when they got NBA star Matt Barnes getting served on camera back in March, TMZ once again captured the moment a big named celebrity was delivered court papers. While rolling outside of Grooves nightclub in Houston on Thursday, May 4, they were able to record Chris Brown receiving an order of protection filed by Karrueche.
Brown was in the lone star state celebrating his 28th birthday when amidst a crowd of fans and paparazzi, he reached out to receive a white envelope being handed to him, just as he boarded his tour bus. Upon entering he'd discover that it was the paperwork his ex has been attempting to get in his hands since February when in a sworn statement made to a judge she accused him of punching her in the stomach and throwing her down a flight of stairs.
The restraining order reportedly stipulates that Brown must keep 100 yards away from Karrueche, her mother, and brother. Brown has previously gone online to implicate himself in willing to exceed Karrueche's private boundaries, with him declaring that she'll never be able to lose him in one video posted to social media. He is also said to have threatened some of Karrueche's friends in the past and in one incident got violent by tossing a drink at one of them.
