Trump along with Republicans have been looking to overhaul Obamacare for some time. There is no telling what the effects may be. However, according to analysts, things like pregnancy with little to no minor conditions could end up with a skyrocketed premium of $17,060. That's a 425 percent increase from where it currently is now. This comes after Trump said that his proposed healthcare bill "will be every bit as good on pre-existing conditions as Obamacare." White House Speaker Paul Ryan noted that the most recent changes to the bill are set to "lower premiums while keeping protections for the most vulnerable in place."

The Center for American Progess did calculations on what the price hike would be for those with "pre-existing conditions," also known as the people who would be immediately affected by this new healthcare bill. According to the group, "the return of discrimination based on medical history could increase insurance costs by tens of thousands of dollars, rendering it unaffordable for millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions." They gave an example, saying that a 40-year-old with brain cancer could be hit with a $71,880 surcharge for treatment/surgery, and also that a middle-aged person with autism could be hit with a charge of up to $5,420 for medical coverage.
