The sneaker community - and really the sports world in general - was abuzz on Thursday (May 4) after Lavar Ball's Big Baller Brand unveiled Lonzo Ball's signature shoe: the ZO2.

Aside from this being an athlete's signature kick that didn't come from one of the "Big 3", the shoe has people talking because of its outrageous price -- a cool $495. That's pretty much twice what folks pay for even the most expensive new release J's (not counting resell, of course).

One person not happy with the sky-high cost of the sneaker is Shaquille O'Neal. The 45-year-old NBA legend took to Twitter after the shoe was unveiled to take a shot at Lavar Ball for setting such a steep price point.

"Hey @Lavarbigballer real big baller brands don't over charge kids for shoes," he wrote.
