Kodak Black found himself back in court Thursday (May 4) for sentencing after being found guilty on violating five counts of his house arrest late last month. Despite Black apologizing to family and friends for his mistakes, the judge sentenced the Florida rapper to a year behind bars (364 days, to be exact).

Things aren't completely grim for Black, however. The Sun Sentinel reporter Brett Clarkson, who has been closely following the case, tweeted that Black could be free in as little as a month if he completes a "life skill course" while incarcerated.
