Needle Drop Reviewer Accuses Wale of Cultural Appropriation, Wale Claps Back

Anthony Fantano, a prominent YouTuber who reviews music under the handle The Needle Drop, put Wale's new album Shine on blast when he wrote on Twitter, "And here we have one of the ugliest attempts at capitalizing on the Caribbean craze," with a screencap of Wale's song, "My Love," playing on his phone.

But Wale quickly clapped back, writing, "Wow man .. ugly attempt at Caribbean ? Man that's Afro beat that's my naija culture . I was born into this sound . This is OUR sound"
