BTY YoungN, a New Orleans rapper and Rich Gang affiliate was gunned down at a Hollygrove gas station early Saturday [April 30] morning. Described as a positive individual, BTY, whose real name was Desmone Jerome, excelled academically all throughout high school and was on the brink of a promising music career. The 27-year-old rapper recently won breakout artist of the year at the NOLA Music Awards.
