While Kodak Black was indeed found guilty of violating his house arrest, he did beat the battery charge he was facing for allegedly assaulting a Miami strip club bartender. And one of the key pieces of evidence that helped him get off the hook, was a surveillance video reported to have been shown over and over again in court on Wednesday, April 26, that captures their interaction at Club Climax that night.

In the recording, Kodak and bartender Jennifer Cunningham are shown speaking face to face in the company of a group of people. Their body language is cordial, with Kodak at one point opening his arms wide and inviting her in for a hug. She then appears to lean into his embrace with her shoulder dipped low. Witnesses say that Cunningham was drunk during the encounter and that she had reached for his genitals when Kodak wrapped his arms around her. According to testimony by club manager Baljit Singh, it was at that point that Kodak told her that she was not his type, which he believes prompted her to spitefully make the claim against him.

That February night was an eventful one for Kodak, who had earlier attended an Adrien Broner fight, during which he participated by walking the Cincinnati champ down to the ring. Both his appearance at the fight and at the club were not authorized and in violation of his house arrest conditions. His sentencing hearing for the five counts he was found guilty on, will be held on May 4.
